Welcome to MaherMatch.com (“MaherMatch”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). MaherMatch is a matrimony platform created exclusively for the Mer/Maher community, connecting Maher families from Saurashtra, Gujarat with trust, tradition, and modern technology.

By accessing or using our website at mahermatch.com, registering an account, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using our platform.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use MaherMatch.

2. Eligibility

To use MaherMatch, you must meet the following criteria:

You must be at least 18 years of age.
You must be a member of the Mer/Maher community, or a family member acting on behalf of an eligible individual.
You must be legally permitted to marry under the laws of your country of residence.
You must provide accurate, truthful, and complete information when registering.

MaherMatch reserves the right to refuse registration or terminate accounts that do not meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration

To access the full features of MaherMatch, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may only create one account per person. Creating multiple accounts is not permitted and may result in all associated accounts being suspended.

Free members can access basic features of MaherMatch, including creating a profile and browsing other member profiles, subject to any limitations set by the platform from time to time.

4.2 Premium Membership

Premium membership provides access to enhanced features such as advanced search, direct messaging, and priority profile visibility. Details of premium plans, pricing, and features are available on our website and may change from time to time.

4.3 Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed securely. Prices are displayed in GBP (British Pounds Sterling) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes.
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law or at our sole discretion.
You may cancel your premium subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
MaherMatch reserves the right to change pricing with reasonable notice provided to existing subscribers.

5. User Conduct

MaherMatch is a respectful community platform. By using our services, you agree not to:

Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information on your profile or in any communications.
Harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against other members.
Use the platform for any purpose other than genuine matrimonial introductions within the Maher community.
Share another member’s personal information without their explicit consent.
Solicit money, financial information, or gifts from other members.
Post or transmit any content that is offensive, obscene, defamatory, or unlawful.
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or scrape the platform.
Impersonate any person or entity.

Violation of these conduct rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

6. Profile Content

You are solely responsible for the content you post on your profile, including photos and personal descriptions. By submitting content to MaherMatch, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on our platform for the purpose of providing our services.

We reserve the right to remove any content that we deem inappropriate, misleading, or in breach of these Terms, without prior notice.

You must not upload photos of anyone other than yourself without their explicit consent.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

MaherMatch is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We collect and process personal information such as your name, email address, gender, date of birth, and profile details for the purpose of providing our matrimonial matching services.

8. Safety and Safeguarding

Meet prospective matches for the first time in a public place.
Inform a trusted family member or friend before meeting someone from the platform.

MaherMatch is not liable for the conduct of its members outside of the platform.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on MaherMatch, including but not limited to the logo, design, text, graphics, and software, is owned by or licensed to MaherMatch and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the platform without our prior written permission.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

MaherMatch provides its platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that:

The platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or harmful components.
Any member profile is accurate or that any match will result in a successful matrimonial union.

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, MaherMatch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or emotional distress.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for premium membership in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may delete or hide your account at any time from your profile section.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without notice if we believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other members or the platform.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
